We want you to be happy when your order arrives.
When your order arrives to you, or when you have asked us to ship a gift to someone you care about, we take great care to insure that the experience of receiving that gift is a pleasant one. In order to do this, we pay attention to detail in all areas:
Unframed documents (Scrolls) are packed between cardboard shipping pads. These are then enclosed in heavy "Stay Flat" shipping containers.
Framed products are placed in a 4 ml poly bag, and then wrapped in shock absorbent material which "suspends" the product for added protection. We ship all of our frames mounted with high quality antiglare Lucite Plexiglas instead of glass. This makes it very easy to view your documents, and you will never have to deal with a shipment involving broken glass.
How long will it take to receive my order?
For most products it can take from 5 to 8 business days for us to research and produce your order. With some specialty products, additional production time will be necessary, and we have made note of that on those individual products. Allow for shipping time for the shipping method you choose.
This means that for Most Products, it will take up to:
12 to 15 Days for United Parcel Service (UPS) Ground (For U.S. and Canadian Shipments)
20 to 35 Business Days for International Shipments (Shipped via United States Postal Service-Air Mail)
We ship UPS Ground for all U.S. and Canadian customers, due to the cost, quality of service and the ability for our customers to track the status of deliveries on the Internet. If your ship-to address contains only a P.O. Box, then we will ship via the U.S. Postal Service.
We currently do not offer Next-Day or Second-Day Rush Delivery, due to the high cost of this service, which in some cases can be more expensive than the product itself! If you have a very urgent need for Next-Day or similar service, please note the issue in the comments section during check-out, and we will contact you with a shipping cost. Please keep in mind it can take 5 to 8 days for your order to be researched and produced, so "Next-Day" could take as long as 5 to 9 days from your order date.
Note: For Embroidered products, Engraved Glassware, Flags/Banners, Plaques and other custom made products, add approximately 6 to 10 weeks (depending on the product) to receive your order.
Please plan your purchase lead-times accordingly. We will do our best to beat these timeframes if at all possible.
When will my credit card be charged?
With most products, your credit card will not be charged until your order is prepared for shipment. On products such as Embroidered Coat of Arms, Flags, Banners, Engraved Glassware, Plaques and other custom made orders , we will charge your credit card at the time you place your order (after we confirm that we have a product for your family name).
Considerations on when to place multiple orders
You will need to place multiple orders (checkout multiple times) when the following situation is present:
When it is your desire to have products shipped to more that one location. If you need multiple products shipped to multiple addresses, you will need to place a separate order for each “ship to” address.
For example - you want to purchase two products, and you want one product shipped to John Miller in New York, and the other product shipped to Janet Miller in California. You will need to place two separate orders, one for John and one for Janet.
Quantity Discounts!
Do you have a special event where a large number of products will be needed? If you are planning a family reunion or other event where multiple products are needed, and these products will be shipped to the same address, please send us an email asking for a quote. For orders of this nature, we will be happy to consider extending a quantity discount on the products, and may be able to reduce shipping charges as well! Please write us or give us a call!
